Copper Wok Fish

In addition to learning the history and enjoying the beautiful scenery of Fuxian lake in Yunnan province, you must try the copper wok fish. The copper wok fish in Fuxian lake is more delicious than other places, because there are four things that are unique and can’t be found elsewhere: the fish in Fuxian Lake; the water in Fuxian lake; the condiments by Fuxian lake and the local copper wok by Fuxian lake.

"Take the fish from Fuxian lake and cook it original." Make sure to use cold water when cooking the fish, add some green onions, ginger, and salt, and bring to boil with high heat and simmer with low heat. Adding monosodium glutamate to the soup only after the fish is fully cooked makes the fish and soup more delicious. Before eating fish, drink a bowl of soup, which is fresh and sweet, with special dipping sauce (fried with chopped green onion, minced ginger, minced garlic, salt, monosodium glutamate, pepper, Sichuan pepper, chili pepper rapeseed oil), and it tastes really good. It is highly regarded as “a unique delicacy in Center Yunnan”. 

After eating the copper wok fish, you have to have a bowl of goldenly braised potato rice to make a heaty “feast”.
